Called to Be Catholic
RCIC-Sacramental preparation for 6th-8th graders: A highly flexible resource that provides young people with a comprehensive introduction to the essentials and key teachings of the four pillars of the Catholic faith. Along with the Break Through Bible for Young Catholics, these resources fill in faith formation gaps for young people ages 12 to 15 preparing to receive sacraments at the Easter Vigil. Word of Life (Augustine Institute)
Continuing catechesis for 3rd-8th graders who have received their first sacraments. Word of Life brings together faith and reason and demonstrates how the truths of the faith speak to the human heart. This catechesis centers on an initial proclamation of the kerygma. Starting Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 11:15am-12:15pm at Donahue Academy. Contact Becky Hampton.
Confirmation Preparation
Confirmation is a two-year preparation process (9th/10th grades). In year one, most of the preparation is participating in Youth Ministry on Sunday evening (see below). In year two, continued participation in Youth Ministry along with formal preparation classes during the week. Starting Wednesday, October 16th, 2024, from 6:30-8:00 pm at Donahue Academy. Youth Ministry - Dead Theologians Society
The Dead Theologians Society is a Catholic apostolate for junior high and high school age teens. Through the saints of yesterday, the Dead Theologians Society inspires the youth of today to become the saints of tomorrow. DTS is also an integral part of the two-year Confirmation program. Starting Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Parish Hall. Contact Deacon Kinnick.

Totus Tuus Summer Program
A summer program for 1st-12th graders dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through evangelization, catechesis, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. Summer 2025. Contact Becky Hampton and Deacon Kinnick.
Throngs of people stand in interminable lines to buy tickets to rock concerts or soccer matches, but I don't see crowds of people lined up outside of Church waiting to see Jesus in the Eucharist. This should make us pause and reflect.
